UV-Curingsearch for term
In certain inkjet printers, the process in which a lamp emitting ultraviolet (UVi) light is used to transform monomeri-based liquid inks (deposited onto a substratei via the printheadi) into polymeri-based solid inks. Commonly used process in many digital flatbed printers. The ink chemistry employed cani be either free radical UV curingi (common) or cationic UV curing (not yet widely used).
